The typical human body needs to consume around 2 litres of water a day, which equates to around 8 glasses. Now this will vary if you are working out – your body will need more. Even though I am the biggest advocate of drinking water, I’m with you, it is super hard to keep track of how much you are drinking and so irritating having to go to the tap every five minutes to fill up your glass. I’VE FINALLY FOUND MY LIFESAVER in Hydrate M8
Not only does drinking water relieve headaches, promote healthy skin, improve mood and aid weight loss – it also makes up 75% of our muscles, accounts for 22% of our bones and 75% of our brain. So yea, it’s pretty essential. If any of the below are true for you, you may not be drinking enough of this special little thing.
Pretty obvious here, no?
Your skin is your body’s largest organ, so of course it needs to stay hydrated.
Sick for long periods of time
Drinking water helps your body continuously flush out toxins.
When you are dehydrated your body ‘borrows’ water from your blood. The type of borrow when you borrow your sisters clothes in the hope she doesn’t notice it is missing. Lack of water in the blood leads to lack of oxygen to transport it around the body, leading to tiredness.
Experience hunger pains
When you are dehydrated your body thinks it needs food. Drinking water supplies the body with fuel it needs to go through the processes it needs to make.
So here is where I save your life a little. My Hydratem8 is my newest fashion accessory. Haha. Jokes a side, it comes with me everywhere.
