The time has arrived, you can finally call off the Instagram ‘find my fit-hubby’ search parties, stop spending hours in the gym staring at all the snapbacks, give up the insta-flirting and going the gym looking fly in the hope to get his attention. Dubbed as the new “ Tinder for fitness fanatics” Sweatt app plans to finally do all the matchmaking for you.
Sweatt’s algorithm matches up potential buddies based on their gym habits, frequency of workouts, how/when they like to exercise and even nutritional preferences – yup you can even search for a gluten-free god. Similar to the likes of Tinder & Hppn, users are prompted to write a brief profile and provide information about their age, gender, location and sexual orientation. The app comes of the back of the developers stating that,
great dates and great relationships start with strong, motivated, confident people.” –
Being heavily image orientated, users are able to show off their gains and admire fellow fitfam aesthetics. using a similar swipe process of elimination as tinder, once two users are matched, if they don’t contact one another within 21 days, their chance to connect will expire.
We can see it now, engagements in the middle of a Barry’s class and weddings with people squat jumping down the isle.
The app is currently free on iOS and is set to launch on Android any minute now
