Fancy jazzing up your usual HIIT session at the gym for an exciting workout on the water? This summer get ready to take your HIIT training out of the gym and onto the floats. It’s time to take the plunge and get involved in this summer’s ultimate fitness pool workout, brought to you by aquaphysical.
Say goodbye to the days of breaking a sweat at your local HIIT class studio, aquaphysical have created a brand new way of exercising using the natural fluidity of water to add an effective and enjoyable element. Floatfit is the latest upcoming craze trending within the fitness industry, consisted of a 30 minute HIIT workout including burpees, lunges, squats, mountain climbers and plank – you’ve guessed it all on water!
Making a huge splash with fitness fanatics worldwide, experts from Floatfit have brought a series of revolutionary cross training HIIT workout classes to London that are taking place at the beautiful Haymarket Hotel, Soho. Set downstairs in the sleek 55ft swimming pool, edged in stone and surrounded by acres of stunning grey oak, participants are treated to a spectacle illusion with twinkling lights that ease high end glamour.
It doesn’t matter whether you are the next Rebecca Adlington or someone who rarely steps foot in the pool, Floatfit is available to absolutely anyone of all swimming abilities. As long as you have a good sense of balance, coordination and humour that is all what’s needed to take part. Having to balance the body and mind through a variety of exercises, whilst challenging the instability of the water, is for sure a difficult task to master. However, the sense of achievement is something you simply can’t beat, giving you a mighty boost of motivation and confidence to tackling the water.
There’s no doubt that afterwards you will be in need of some post-workout fuel, that’s why Brumum Restaurant have you well looked after to a delicious recovery brunch, with many tasty dishes suited to quench your high interval training work. Expect healthy treats such as crushed avocado on rye with grilled chorizo; poached eggs and French toast with peanut butter yoghurt and maple syrup; granola, yoghurt and compote, and a fluffy egg white omelette, goats cheese and backed Romano peppers. How amazing does that sound right?
